The moment you wake up in the morning, what do you usually say or do? Stare somewhere blankly? Speechless? Think that you're tired? or worse emotionless.
Getting up in the morning is perhaps one of the most challenging part of the day especially when you were extremely tired from yesterday's whereabouts or you just didn't get enough sleep because insomnia strikes again. I couldn't disagree with that. Sometimes our work or job affects how we think in the morning as well. How could you be happy when you know that you've got a lot of things to do? You go to work thinking tired, you go home feeling tired. But let me tell you this - that is something you cannot control unless you are a millionaire. You know what I mean? Yes, you will be fed up and yes this can affect your mood in the morning. However, you can always change the way you think about these things.
Another thing that can affect your mood in the morning is when you wake up late and you have to hurry up to avoid being late at work. You get out of your house, wait at the jeepney stop, ride, trap in a heavy traffic and viola, you are upset. You get angry of the situation. But can you change it? No! Wasting your energy of being upset will not change the situation.
You see, when you wake up tired, think tired, everything will turn out tiring. Change the way you think things because that is the only thing you can control. When you wake up in the morning, DECIDE that your day is going to be great, productive and no bad circumstances can change that. Decide that you are going to be happy. Decide that everything will turn out fine. If you cannot get a taxi right away, relax. If you are trap in a heavy traffic, relax. There are a lot things in the world we cannot control but we can always decide on how to deal with it. Positivity invites positivity.
Lastly, don't waste your time and energy over something you cannot control. Again, when you wake up in the morning, decide that your day is going to be great. Believe me, this will make your day better.
