Walking away

She stood there in silence. Staring blankly into the distance. He then said, "I want to find myself. I want to do things I want to do without asking for your approval. I want to enjoy my life and just be my old self again." He looked at her and waited for a response but failed. He then continued, "Believe me, I love you; however, not as strong as before. The feeling is not the same anymore." She then answered, "I respect that." In disbelief he answered, "that's it?" She nodded and smiled at him and said, "Go find yourself. Tell me what you have found when we meet again. Do not worry about me. I'll be okay." Tears started to fall and right there and then he knew she won't be okay but still he opted to go and leave her.
